Conditions move scores faster than faces do
GlowUp compares a photo to a scoring model. Harsh overhead light, a tilted phone, a salty dinner, or a short night of sleep can soften contour or exaggerate texture without any real glow-up setback. If every dimension fell together, start with the photo protocol — eye-level camera, even front light, neutral expression — before rewriting your routine.
Read the sub-score, not only the Aura Score
The useful question is which dimension moved. Skin quality alone often tracks actives, sleep, or a filter you forgot to turn off. Contour alone often tracks water retention or angle. Structure barely moves week to week; a big jump there is almost always framing. Open the dimension pages below and match the drop to a real lever before you panic.
Keep the next scan comparable
Same window light, same distance, same time of day. Skip beauty filters. Wait out the rescan cooldown so your history measures you, not the room. One honest baseline beats ten frantic rescans.
